Saints game

We've been a little busy, between my trip down to Morgan City for a week and general work stuff, but we haven't forgotten about putting stuff up and feeding the beast. So, here's the latest and greatest.

The PA office allows me a lot of opportunities. Apart for the networking I get to do and all the awesome deployments I get, we also have a great working relationship with the Saints and Hornets public relations guys. If one of the players needs to do some community service for some drunken shenanigans they know we're always looking for another high profile personality for one of our safe boating PSAs (public service announcements). Well, the first home game of the preseason for the Saints fell on military appreciation day and there's not another service they appreciate more than the Coast Guard. So, they made it rain on us by giving us 60 tickets and none of them nosebleed. It was a great time as our whole office went. Of course, we gave the rest out to some of our surrounding units, but we had to get first dibs.

This being our first pro football game we had to do it up right, even if the banner we were flying just so happened to have a 5 week old baby attached to it.

He'll understand when he's older. Probably should have taken some pics of the game or at least the cheerleaders, but I was otherwise occupied.
