Alright, so I fell off there for a bit, but hopefully this posting will help curb those semi-threatening phone calls from Jaclyn Young. Before you ask me how I know it's you, let me say that even though all you do is breath on the other end I still have caller ID, so knock it off.
Jackson has grown a lot in the last...how long has it been? He's 6 months old now and he's developing surprising fast. Surprising to me, the guy with his first child. He's eating food that's almost solid, he's sitting up, rolling over and he's working on his first couple teeth. Hard to believe, I know. So that's why I brought some evidence.

The rest of the cantaloupe is on the floor. Where else would it be?

"Portable food? This changes everything..."

How terrified does Jack look here?
Jackson has been suffering from bronchitis for a couple weeks now, but, fortunately we have a very good doctor who prescribes dinosaur-shaped facial apparatuses like the one pictured above. Jack didn't like it too much at the start, but he's getting use to it...yeah, now that he's almost done with it.

And Syracuse is 10-0 going into their game against Pitt tonight. Fingers crossed.

There's only one Orangeman in this dome.

"Alright foot. If this toast thing doesn't work out you're going in next."
He loves toast with some kind of fruit or vegetable puree over it. It's hell to clean up, but it's cool to actually have a meal where we're actually eating something similar.

There was a bit of time where he didn't want to the bottle for whatever reason, so we decided to see how he'd do with his personalized sippy cup. Not too bad as it turns out. His yellow onesie stayed yellow and there was much rejoicing.

Feel free to caption this one yourself.

Jackson enjoying some kind of carrot-mango mixture.

And that's all we got for now. I'll leave the camera on the living room table for the next week and see what turns up.
Oh my isn't he beautiful! His eyes are soooo blue. So handsome. Jenn did good. Thank you Steve for putting these up. He is such a cutie pie! And I don't recall any death threats specifically. =)
ReplyDeleteAwww he looks different from just a few weeks ago, not liking the mask on his face (very scary) glad he's feeling better! Can't believe he is using a sippy cup already. He's so beautiful and we miss him like CRAZY! xoxoxoxo
